The Streamline AI platform
Streamline AI’s KnowledgeBot transforms how in-house legal teams manage frequently asked questions from business stakeholders.
The KnowledgeBot is built on OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o, a state-of-the-art language model to interpret and respond to natural language queries, and seamlessly integrates with your Slack instance.
Admin Users and Core Lead Users can easily upload and maintain a database of internal documents (such as HR guidelines, security policies, etc.) that the KnowledgeBot references to provide customized, policy-aligned answers.
The KnowledgeBot provides near real-time*, consistent answers to common legal queries, reducing response times and improving client satisfaction. KnowledgeBot references the document where the response was located so that the requester can confirm the accuracy of the response.
*Response times may vary slightly depending on the complexity of the question and the amount of data the KnowledgeBot needs to process in order to provide an accurate answer
The KnowledgeBot operates with two specialized AI agents, each optimized for a specific task: one summarizes documents, while the one specializes in answering user queries. This independent, task- specific setup ensures responses are precise, timely, and tailored to users’ needs.
Only Streamline AI Admins and Core Lead Users can access and upload policy documents within the Knowledge library.
KnowledgeBot significantly reduces the need for human intervention in answering repetitive queries, enabling legal professionals to focus on high-value, strategic tasks.
The KnowledgeBot references your internal documents uploaded to Streamline AI’s Knowledge library to provide accurate, context-specific answers in real-time.
Questions for Legal
System admins can easily upload internal FAQs, policy documents and any relevant materials to the Knowledge library.
AI Interprets and Understands the Documents
The KnowledgeBot leverages OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o to interpret and understand the uploaded documents.
Interactive Querying
Users can ask questions in natural language within Slack and query the KnowledgeBot using the at-mention command. KnowledgeBot will then provide relevant answers based on the uploaded documents.
KnowledgeBot is powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o, which processes natural language inputs to generate intelligent, human-like responses.
The system processes the uploaded documents and stores them in a vector database capable of both keyword and semantic search.
Each conversation has its own ephemeral LLM assistant, which has access to this vector database. Responses are then generated using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), so the LLM combines its internal understanding with the external knowledge base to improve its responses.
Chat interactions and document uploads are stored in Streamline AI’s account within OpenAI, which is necessary in order for the KnowledgeBot to accurately respond to user queries. Streamline AI controls this data and isable to delete or make changes to the data without OpenAI’s involvement. Customer data is stored in its own individual container within OpenAI so your data will not be commingled with any other customer data.
